How we keep young people safe.

Organized Steps Towards Community works with young people, including children. These rules apply everywhere we operate, always, without exception.

Two adults, always. No adult is ever alone with a minor: in a session, in a vehicle, at any stop along the way.
No private messaging with minors. Group channels only, before, during and after any program.
Background checks on every adult in a youth-facing role.
A named safeguarding lead for every program, and every family is told who that is.
Guardian consent before any young person under 18 takes part, with emergency and medical information held by a named person and carried to every activity.
Trained drivers and two licensed drivers per vehicle on every trip.
No image of a woman’s face is ever published, and no photograph of a minor is used without written guardian consent.

If you have a concern about anything at OSTC, including about a leader, contact us directly at admin@ostcmn.com. Concerns raised are taken seriously and handled the same day.
