What we do with your information.
This policy covers ostcmn.com, operated by Organized Steps Towards Community. It describes what we collect through this site, why, and who sees it.
Our member app collects different information and is covered by a separate app privacy policy.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form. The contact form asks for your name, email, an optional phone number, which kind of person you are, and your message. The volunteer form asks for your name, email, phone, age bracket, areas of interest, availability and anything you want us to know.
We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party tracking or analytics on this site. Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, to serve pages and protect against abuse.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered by email to admin@ostcmn.com, which our leadership reads. We use an external form-delivery service to send them; it processes the message on our behalf and does not use it for anything else.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the organization except where the law requires it or where there is a safeguarding concern.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send for as long as it is useful for the reason you sent it, then delete it. Volunteer expressions of interest are kept for one year unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Young people
This site is not designed to collect information from anyone under 13. Enrollment in our youth programs happens through a guardian, in person, not through this website. If you believe a child has sent us something through this site, email admin@ostcmn.com and we will delete it.
Asking us to delete something
Email admin@ostcmn.com and ask. Tell us what you sent and roughly when, and we will remove it and confirm.
