An organization built to outlast the people who started it.
Organized Steps Towards Community (OSTC) is a Muslim youth organization serving the Twin Cities. We exist to develop Muslim leaders: young men and women who are grounded in their deen, capable in their work, and relied upon by the people around them.
We started with a weekly gathering and have not missed a season since. Today that has grown into sport across the year, career development, community trips, tournaments that draw teams from three states, and programming for sisters and for younger children.
Our work sits on three pillars: Ilm, Professional Development and Social Development. Every program serves at least one of them.
Character is not a subject that gets taught. It is a result that gets produced. It comes from sustained relationship, honest accountability and shared experience. That is why our week is built around people being together, and why what happens between the sessions matters as much as the sessions themselves.

Islamic knowledge, and above all character: manners, discipline, and the kind of man or woman people rely on.
Professional Development
Careers, education, trades and entrepreneurship. Real preparation for the work ahead.
Social Development
Brotherhood and sisterhood. Sport, travel and shared experience, because people are formed by those they are close to.
